The University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur in association with "Your Quote" organization is organising Open Mic under UEM Jaipur chapter, on 16th September, 2018, starting from 1 pm. It is "Write like an Author, Perform like an Artist" - a platform where number of poets and writers from different languages will meet and read out their literature helping to promote the love for language and wizards of the words.

Schumaker, Associate Professor of Computer Science at the University of Texas at Tyler, USA will address the students and teachers of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur under the ACM Distinguished Speaker Program on 26th July, 2018 at UEM Jaipur campus from 11 AM onwards. Dr. Robert P. Schumaker is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the University of Texas at Tyler, the George W. and Robert Pirtle Endowed Professor of Business, Director of the Data Analytics Lab, Associate Editor of Decision Support Systems (DSS) journal. Dr. Schumaker is an accomplished researcher with over 40 publications and a g-index score of 35; measuring scientific productivity based on published articles and citations. His research deals with predictive analytics in the areas of textual/financial, sports and healthcare analytics. We are proud to announce that the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur has been selected 1 out of the 100 institutes of the country, and the only University of Rajasthan by BMW for its “Skill Next" programme, launched by cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar. As part of the program, a laboratory will be set up at UEM Jaipur with a state-of-the-art BMW engine and transmission unit (worth Rs 14 lakhs), to be provided free of cost to our University for learning purposes. These will be  BMW’s proprietary TwinPower Turbo In-Line 4-Cylinder Diesel Engine and Eight-Speed Steptronic Automatic Transmission. Also post-handover, a free training and workshop will be provided by 40 Master Technicians of BMW. The workshops will be a combination of classroom sessions and hands-on practical sessions using detailed training materials.
