University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur presents Virtual Trading Championship Organized by: FinDazzlers Finance Club Date: September 14, 2024 Virtual Trading Championship was an amazing event under TECHUTOPIA 2024 Tech fest. This fabulous event was organized by FinDazzlers Finance Club, School of Management in the basement auditorium of University of Engineering and Management on September 14, 2024. In this event there were 44 registered team with two participants in each team and finally 30 teams participated actively. Dr Mukesh Yadav and Dr G. Uma Devi (Associate Dean) blessed the students in the commencement of the event. Every team has allowed to trade with virtual money allotment of Rs 5,00,000. With different news of financial market and the reaction of teams in terms of buying and selling of stocks was the key demonstration of the event. Dr Yogesh Jakhar and Prof Sourav Banerjee were the judges to finalize the results. The event was designed to explore and highlight the proper mechanism of the stock market. Student coordinators contributed well as bankers as well as to maintain discipline during the event. Finally in the presence of Prof Sayak, Prof Rahul Sharma, Prof Sourav, Prof Saugata, Prof Rhythm and Prof Rishita three teams were awarded with Ist, IInd and IIIrd positions. Along with the distribution of certificates, Gold, Bronze and silver medals were also given to the top three winning team member by the judges and faculties. At last with the thanks note by Dr Pawan Sharma, the event was concluded. On 14th September, as part of the Techutopia Techfest at UEM Jaipur, two events Project Exhibition and Line Follower were organized by PRADYOG Club and IEEE MTT-S Student Branch Chapter UEM Jaipur, in association with IIC and IQAC. The event was a resounding success, with more than twelve teams participating and showcasing their innovative ideas. Several HR representatives from different companies, along with school students, visited the project exhibition and eagerly engaged with the teams, asking insightful questions about their projects. At the conclusion of the event, medals, certificates, and prize money were distributed to the winning teams by esteemed faculty members, including Associate Dean (Academics) Dr. Mukesh Yadav, Associate Dean (Engineering) Prof. G. Uma Devi, Associate Dean (Research) Prof. Tapas Si, HoD ECED Dr. Prashant Ranjan, and Associate Professor Dr. Chandra Prakash. Project Exhibition Results: 1st Place: Oxy Tech 2nd Place (Tie): Shunya - 1 and TEAM UAC 3rd Place (Tie): Binary Innovators and Surviel X-innovator Line Follower Competition Results: 1st Place: Gear Shifters 2nd Place: Dhakad Boy Additionally, a team from Bhopal participated in the Line Follower event. Held at the University of Engineering and Management on September 14, 2024. Participants demonstrated their artistic skills by using Prompt AI to generate distinctive art. The event was designed to explore and highlight how Prompt AI can transform artistic expression through advanced technology. Highlights of the Event: Level 1: Participants created digital sceneries inspired by the Ramayana. Level 2: Participants crafted a visual story using a sequence of 4 images. Level 3: Participants blended two randomly selected genres into one cohesive artwork. University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur presents Reverse Engineering On 14th Sept 2024, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur Mechanical Engineering Department students have organized The Reverse Engineering Event with around 25 participants. Reverse Engineering is process of dismantling a product to see how it works. It is basically used to analyze and gain knowledge about the way how something works but often is used to enhance the product feature. It can be used to reproduce parts that are no longer manufactured or difficult to obtain. By analyzing an existing part, engineers can create a new Machines/ Systems that replicates the original part’s shape, dimensions, and function. Further, Engineers can use reverse engineering to analyze an existing product to identify areas for improvement or modification. This can involve analyzing the product’s design, materials, and manufacturing processes to find ways to increase efficiency, reduce costs, or improve performance. The event was held at the Central Lab (CSE Department) from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Participants showcased their web development skills on the topic of "UEM Jaipur Website Re-design", competing for exciting prizes. The winners were awarded cash prizes, physical certificates, and medals by Prof. Jyoti Anand and Prof. Sourav Chakraborty.
