News published in dailies like Dainik Jagran, Hindustan, Prabhat Khabar regarding the workshops conducted by the University of Engineering & Management (UEM) at the different schools of Bihar and Jharkhand.  

Kreeti Technologies conducted pool campus for all engineering students of Rajasthan (on 12th and 13th November) and selected only 2 from the entire state. One of them was from the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur (Mr. Palash Bera, ECE). 5 local students of Jaipur got selected in Bhansali Cables and Conductors on 10th November. As of now, the students of 2017 batch have sat for placement in 1) Sankalp Semiconductors 2) NRI Fintech 3) Fusion Charts 4) Labvantage 5) Infosys 6) Kreeti Technologies 7) Capgemini 8) Tech Mahindra 9) Matrix Media 10) Robo Champs India 11) Learning Mate Solutions 12) Think & Learn 13) Bhansali Cables and Conductors 14) TNS We are confident that like 2016 batch, in 2017 also the students of University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur will get 1 to 2 job offers each.  

Students and teachers of University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Kolkata organized special workshops and training programs at different schools for the school children on the occasion of Children's Day (14th November). It was led by one of the oldest members of the IEM-UEM family, Mr Suman Chakraborty. Date - 14th November 2016

Date - 14th November 2016 As part of community development initiative, students and teachers of University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Kolkata organized a programme with the street children on the occasion of Children's Day (14th November 2016).

Date - 14th October 2016 Raj Jain received his Ph.D. in 1978 from Harvard University and an M.E. from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Dr. Jain is currently a Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis. He is a Fellow of IEEE, a Fellow of ACM, a Fellow of AAAS, a winner of ACM SIGCOMM Test of Time award,Center for Development of Advanced Computing – Advanced Computing and Communications Society (CDAC-ACCS) Foundation Award 2009, WiMAX Forum Individual Contribution Award 2008, 2014 Distinguished Alumnus Award from Indian Institute of Science Bangalore Alumni Association, and ranks among the top 90 in CiteSeerX’s list of Most Cited Authors in Computer Science.  

Date - 14th October 2016 Axel Krings received his doctorate (1993) and master’s (1991) degrees in computer science from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, a Dipl. Ing. (1982) in electrical engineering from the FH-Aachen, Germany, and joined the University of Idaho Computer Science faculty in 1995.

Mr. Avijit Basu is now working as an engineer in Juniper Networks which is the leading company in networking domain along with Cisco. He himself manufacturers network cards, ICs, line cards etc. He was full of praise for the students of UEM after the interaction. Date - 15th October 2016 James Cole is currently a professor at the University of Tsukuba in Japan. He graduated from the University of Maryland, PhD physics (high energy and particle physics), and after a post-doctorate at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (Laboratory for High Energy Astrophysics) he went to the Army Research Laboratory (ARL) , and then the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL). At ARL he developed simulated annealing programs for pattern recognition, and at NRL he began his current research. Prof. Cole wrote parallel computer programs with advanced visualizations to model sound propagation in complicated ocean environments.

Motoharu Fujigaki is a Professor in the Department of Human and Artificial Intelligent Systems Division of Advanced Informatics and Machinery at University of Fukui, Japan. He obtained his Bacherlor of Engineering and Master of Engineering degrees from Faculty of Engineering Science, Osaka University and his Ph.D. from Osaka University in 2001.
