Our students of UEM JAIPUR are conducting the biggest Hackathon of Rajasthan - AceHack 4.0 in association with Department of IT and Communication, Govt. of Rajasthan, which they have promoted in top companies like Microsoft, and also associated with many of them. In this Hackathon, participants and ethical hackers are coming from all across the country, literally from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, and Gujarat to the North-East, and competing in this 36 hour hackathon. They have also associated with companies like Commudle, CSS Battle, Interview Cake, FlatLogic, SecureDapp, Devdock, Nukhba, DoraHacks, Johnathan Chiang, GitHub, CodeCrafters.io, Balsamiq, Offsec, O'Reilly, AoPSOnline,ZSecurity, Interview Buddy, TechSoc, Microsoft Azure, ReSkill_I, Azure Developer Community, .Xyz, Appwrite, SybGen, BlockPen and GlobalHues. Industrialists and corporates from across the country are also coming to the Hackathon to judge the competition and witness this Mega event. Start-up competitions will also be held as part of this Hackathon, and will be judged by representatives from the Ministry and the corporates. LitFest (Literature Festival) was conducted at UEM JAIPUR on 8th and 9th March, 2025, as a celebration of Literature, Storytelling, and Cultural Dialogues in collaboration with Voices. Top poets and storytellers of the country came together, forming an esteemed gathering of literary minds, scholars, and creative voices for an enriching day of discussions, readings, and reflections on its 1st day. The theme of the event was “A Journey from Puranas to New Stories," capturing the essence of bridging classical narratives with contemporary storytelling. The dignitaries present in the event and details of the event were:- - Prof. Rajul Bhargava, Founder and Editor of Voices (shared her opening remarks, emphasising the evolving landscape of literature) - Prof. Sudhi Rajiv, Vice Chancellor, Haridev Joshi University of Journalism and Mass Communication, Jaipur (spoke on "Making the World Women Fit", highlighting gender narratives and empowerment in literature) Poetry, Conversations, and Storytelling:- - Meenakshi Bharat (Writer, Translater & Reviewer) and Neha Bansal (Poet & Writer) were in conversation with Dr. Sudha Rai (Former Professor & Dean, Department of English, University of Rajasthan) (exploring Troubled Testimonies & Nostalgic Reminiscences, delving into memory, trauma, and literature). - Rachna Singh (Writer) and Tabeenah Anjum (Author and Journalist) engaged with Dr. Mini Nanda (Former Professor & Head, Department of English, University of Rajasthan) (on Myriad Musings and Pictorial Storytelling, highlighting the visual and textual interplay in storytelling). - Ashutosh Singh (Writer and Translater) discussed with Dr. Jaishree Bhargava (Educational Leader, Consultant - Digantar Vidyalaya) (on Mythopoesis & Mythology Revisited, reinterpreting ancient myths in modern contexts). - Misna Chanu (Writer, Poet and Translater) discussed with Dr. Urmil Talwar (Former Professor and Joint Director, RUSA) (sharing insights on Flames of Distant Mountains, exploring themes of displacement, identity, and belonging). - The final session featured Ronojoy Sircar (Writer, Musician and Filmmaker) discussing with Dr. Maheeka Nanda (Educator & Researcher) (in an insightful discussion on Ways of Seeing—Reseeing, encouraging new perspectives on literature and art). The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the University of Engineering and Management (UEM), Jaipur, successfully conducted a five-day Short-Term Training Program (STTP) on "MATLAB for Scientific Computations" from March 3rd to March 7th. The program was designed for second- and third-year students from the Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering departments, with sessions held daily from 3:30 PM to 4:45 PM. The sessions were led by Dr. Vishal Kumar Pandey, Associate Professor, ECE Department, who extends his heartfelt gratitude to Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Registrar, and Dr. Prashant Ranjan, H.O.D., ECE, for the opportunity to conduct this training. Special appreciation is also extended to Dr. Ankit Kumar Sharma, H.O.D., Electrical Engineering, and Dr. Umesh Gurnani, H.O.D., Mechanical Engineering, for their support in encouraging student participation. The successful execution of the program was made possible through the efforts of Mr. Ladu Ram Gujar and dedicated student coordinators, Debraj and Arghyajit, whose contributions ensured a seamless learning experience. She is among 42 students selected from various colleges in Jaipur City and one of 205 female candidates across India from the 2024 admission batch to receive this prestigious scholarship. The felicitation ceremony was held at the Deutsche Bank Jaipur office, where Dilip Khandelwal (CEO - Deutsche India), Simriti Sharma (Managing Director, Deutsche Bank), and Manish Bansal (CSR Head, Deutsche Bank) presented the scholarship recipients with an official Letter of Scholarship Grant and an HP laptop. National Sports Day 2026 | A Tribute to Major Dhyan ChandThe National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit, and Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) Unit, UEM Jaipur, celebrated National Sports Day on 29th August 2026, paying a heartfelt tribute to the legendary hockey wizard, Major Dhyan Chand.More than 80 students enthusiastically participated in the celebration, which promoted the values of physical fitness, teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship.The programme commenced with students gathering at the Basketball Court, where a respectful tribute was paid to Major Dhyan Chand.
