Fin Dazzlers Finance Club, School of Management organized an insightful Seminar on Investor Awareness Program on Financial Empowerment Through Investment at University Of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur. This seminar is funded by Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) in association with Securities Exchange Board of India (SEBI) with the aim of financial literacy & empower individuals to make bright investment decisions. Guests & Speakers: 1. Shri Kamlesh Chandra Varshney, Whole Time Member, SEBI). Former Joint Secretary (Tax Policy and Legislation), Department of Revenue, Government of India. A 1990 batch Indian Revenue Service Officer. He is on the UNDP panel of tax experts served as chief guest. 2. Shri Surya Kant Sharma, Senior Consultant at the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI), was the keynote speaker. 3. Shri Vikas Sukhwal, Regional Director, SEBI 4. We are excited to share that the Department of Physiotherapy, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur, has successfully conducted a two-day Internationally Accredited Workshop on Blood Flow Occlusion (Restriction) Training (BFRT) on February 27-28, 2025. The workshop witnessed the active participation of 50 physiotherapy students and professionals, equipping them with advanced rehabilitation techniques. The event commenced with a warm welcome to Dr. Durga Pratap (PT), Chief Instructor of BFRT, by the Head of the Physiotherapy Department, along with faculty members. Over two days, participants engaged in insightful discussions and practical applications of BFRT in rehabilitation, injury prevention, and sports performance enhancement. The workshop concluded with Registrar Sir presenting a token of appreciation to Dr. Durga Pratap, recognizing his invaluable contribution to physiotherapy education. Student Coordinators: Tarachand and Nikesh Sharma, for their dedication in making this event a grand success! We are also proud to announce that BFRT has now been incorporated into the physiotherapy syllabus at UEM Jaipur, ensuring students receive cutting-edge education in modern rehabilitation techniques. Additionally, several research projects on BFRT and its applications in sports rehabilitation and musculoskeletal recovery have been initiated as part of this academic development. Under the aegis of the Center of Sustainable Innovations for Clean Future (SICF), students from the Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical Engineering departments of University of Engineering and Management (UEM), Jaipur visited Biogas Plant at LNMIIT Jaipur for an industrial tour. The visit, organized by Prof. Mandeep Singh with the support of Prof. Umesh Gurnani, provided an enriching experience where students witnessed cutting-edge technologies in action. During the visit, students observed live demonstrations of advanced manufacturing and automation systems, including VMC (Vertical Machining Center), EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining), Plasma Arc Cutting, and Underwater/Submerged Arc Welding. These processes are widely used in high-precision engineering and modern fabrication industries. Additionally, students got hands-on exposure to PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and automation systems, understanding their critical role in industrial control and smart manufacturing. The highlight of the visit was an interaction with a Humanoid Robot, showcasing the integration of robotics and artificial intelligence in industrial applications. The students were guided by LNMIIT, Jaipur team, who provided technical insights and industry-oriented knowledge. The visit not only enhanced their understanding of advanced manufacturing but also inspired them to explore emerging trends in engineering and automation. University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur has once again set a remarkable benchmark by becoming the first university in Rajasthan and among the first universities in India to commence academic classes for the 2026 admission batch at full strength. The new batch of students officially began their academic journey on 15th July 2026. The students received a warm welcome from UEM Jaipur's faculty members, distinguished government officials, and esteemed industry leaders, reflecting the university's strong commitment to academia-industry collaboration. Adding a unique technological touch to the induction, "Veda", the humanoid robot developed by UEM Jaipur students, along with other robots created at the university, greeted the freshers and assisted them in locating their classrooms and navigating the campus. University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur successfully conducted the Board of Studies (BoS) Meeting for the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering on 6th July 2026 at the UEM Jaipur campus, reaffirming its commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and industry-aligned education. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Prashant Ranjan, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, who welcomed the distinguished Board members and faculty participants. The primary objective was to review and further strengthen the department's curriculum in line with emerging technologies, evolving industry requirements, and Outcome-Based Education (OBE) principles. The University was privileged to receive valuable insights from eminent external academic experts: Prof. (Dr.) Tarun Varma, MNIT Jaipur Prof. (Dr.) Amit Mahesh Joshi, MNIT Jaipur Following comprehensive deliberations, the Board approved the proposed curriculum and appreciated the Department's academic framework for its strong alignment with current industry expectations, technological advancements, and future-ready learning outcomes.
