Visit of WIPRO delegates to the Mechanical Workshop of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur. Mr. Anil Kisan Domkawle, WIPRO interacted with the students and praised the students for their development of All Terrain Vehicle, Go Kart, Racing Car and Monster Bike from scratch. UEMSAT 2018 an aptitude test conducted by University of Engineering & Management (UEM). Around 400 Schools and 25000 students of class 12 will be appearing in 2019 Participants are from West Bengal, North East, Bihar and Jharkhand. Round 2 will be at UEM Kolkata campus on 21st Dec 2018. Mr. Shivraj Dhaka, CII-IGBC (Indian Green Building Council), delivered his talk on 26th November, 2018 on "Cognitive Skills and Critical Thinking" at the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur. Dr. Shivraj Dhaka, CII-IGBC (Indian Green Building Council) has over 10 years of rich experience in industry and academia. Shivraj Dhaka is a Gold Medalist in Post-Graduation from MNIT Jaipur and he is an alumni of DAAD, Germany. Dr. Dhaka carries out extensive research on Comfort Cooling. He has published more than 16 research articles in referred International Journals and Conferences. His areas of interest include Green Buildings, Comfort Cooling, Building Simulation and savings through retro-commissioning. He is leading in Green Building certification services for Green Data Centers, Green Factories, and Existing Buildings. Dr Shivraj Dhaka has been instrumental in developing IGBC Data Center rating system. He received Energy Conservation Award from Govt. of Rajasthan in 2012. The talk was organized in association of the Indian Society of Lighting Engineers (ISLE) Student Chapter, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur and Institution's Innovation Council, IEM Jaipur under Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. Indian Society of Lighting Engineers (ISLE) Student Chapter, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur and Institution's Innovation Council, IEM Jaipur under Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India present an Interactive Session on "Career and Research opportunities in Green Buildings and Energy Efficiency Sectors" by Mr. Hasan Ali Khan, Project Engineer, Design2Occupancy Services LLP on 27th November, 2018, 10:30 am onwards at UEM Jaipur premises. Mr. Hasan Ali Khan is a GRIHA certified professional, HVAC professional and holds the chair of ISHRAE Jaipur Chapter. He has successfully completed more than 35 green building energy certifications.
