University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Kolkata has been granted membership and affiliation of the very prestigious Toastmasters International Club, USA. It is an international forum for English and Leadership skills development for its members. University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Kolkata has become the member of Computer Society of India (CSI). The formal certificate of institutional membership has been received. With this the CSI student chapter is opened at UEM Kolkata with 75 student members.

We are happy to announce that University of Engineering & Management, Kolkata (IEM-Group) is organizing the online International Mathematics Olympiad (UEMMO-2019) in association with codechef. It is scheduled to be held on 15th January, 2019. It is a great opportunity for students preparing for International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO) or any Mathematics lover to test their ability. The students of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur have designed special garden lights for lightening the gardens of their campus. The garden lights are multicoloured and the colours can be controlled from mobile app. The work was initiated by Ankit, BCA 2nd year student of UEM Jaipur, under his mentor Mr. Afaq Ahmad. Internshala, the leading internship providing platform of the country has ranked the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur in 155th position amongst all colleges of the country including all IITs and NITs, and it is in the 1st position in Rajasthan. Big Congratulations to the students of UEM Jaipur on this achievement of theirs. It is to be kept in mind that, there are 100+ institutes of national importance including the IITs in the country. Considering that, the performance of UEM Jaipur students is quite good.
