Tournament Report
The UEM Unity Cricket Cup 2026 was successfully organized as a vibrant inter-team sporting event, bringing together 12 teams and providing participants with an excellent platform to demonstrate their cricketing skills, teamwork, leadership, discipline, and competitive spirit.
The tournament was conducted in a structured four-group format, with three teams in each group. The group-stage matches were followed by the semi-finals and the grand final, culminating in an exciting conclusion to the tournament.

Tournament Format
The tournament featured 12 group-stage matches, with each team playing two matches within its respective group. The top-performing teams advanced to the knockout stage, leading to two competitive semi-finals.
Semi-Final Results & Inauguration
First Semi-Final: UEM Faculty Team vs. Mighty Yorkers — Winner: UEM Faculty Team
The first semi-final was formally inaugurated by Dr. Mukesh Yadav, Associate Dean, Foreign Affairs, whose presence and encouragement added significance to the occasion.
Second Semi-Final: B.Tech Lions vs. Dabang 11 — Winner: B.Tech Lions
Grand Final
The much-anticipated Grand Final was played between B.Tech Lions and the UEM Faculty Team.
The final match was formally inaugurated by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, whose presence and encouragement motivated the participating teams and added prestige to the concluding match of the tournament.
After a competitive encounter, B.Tech Lions emerged as the Champions, while the UEM Faculty Team secured the Runners-Up position.
