Toast Fiesta, an interactive event for first-year B.Tech students, was conducted today by UEM Jaipur Toastmasters Club at E-Cell. The event aimed to engage students through various activities and foster a collaborative environment with the involvement of second-year members.
The event featured prepared speech delivered by Toastmaster Sagnik, which was evaluated by the audience, promoting a culture of constructive feedback and improvement. In addition to the speech, first-year students participated in several interactive activities. These included “Picture Puzzle” conducted by Toastmaster Toastmaster Abhishek, an Open Mic Session conducted by Toastmaster Sagnik and Toastmaster Radhika where students spoke on topics of their choice, and “Guess the Quote” that involved active participation from the audience.
To incentivize participation and add an element of excitement, goodies were awarded to the winners of the activities. The positive feedback from participants highlighted the event’s success and set a precedent for future activities.
In conclusion, Toast Fiesta successfully engaged first-year students, promoted public speaking, and fostered a sense of community within the UEM Jaipur Toastmasters Club. The event’s success was made possible by the efforts and enthusiasm of all participants, organizers, and volunteers.
