Prof. Sanchari Basak, Assistant Professor, Department of English and Humanities participated in Power Up 2.0, the Toastmasters Leadership Training Program, held at IPS Business School, Nirman Nagar, Jaipur on 12th January, 2025. She represented UEM Jaipur Toastmasters Club. The comprehensive training featured expert sessions by distinguished trainers including DTMs Ankit, Neha, and Sanjan, who shared their wealth of experience in club leadership.
The program focused on crucial aspects of club management, including strategies for achieving Distinguished Club Program (DCP) goals and educational pathway goals, effective treasury management, and membership retention techniques. Prof. Basak gained valuable insights into awards and recognition processes, along with innovative approaches to enhance public relations for club growth.
The highlight of the training was the interactive sessions on leadership development and club excellence. The event concluded on a high note with an exciting kite festival, where the Toastmasters fraternity came together, fostering fellowship and networking opportunities. This unique blend of learning and celebration made Power Up 2.0 a memorable experience for all participants.

Interactive Workshop on Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme at UEM Jaipur
The Institution Innovation Council (IIC, UEM Jaipur) and the Innovation, Incubation & Entrepreneurship Development Center (IIEDC, UEM Jaipur), in collaboration with MSME, Government of India, proudly organized an engaging Workshop on Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme.
The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across BBA, MBA, and B.Tech programs, who gained valuable insights into the entrepreneurial journey. Many students were inspired to consider launching their own start-ups, and some took the opportunity to consult with resource persons regarding loan facilities available through banking institutions.
This initiative reflects UEM Jaipur’s commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among its students, aligning with the university's vision of nurturing future leaders and changemakers.
