The conference was inaugurated today in the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Satyajit Chakraborty, Chancellor, UEM Jaipur, Prof. (Dr.) Biswajoy Chatterjee, Vice-Chancellor, UEM Jaipur, Prof. (Dr.) Aniruddha , Dean, UEM Jaipur and Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Kr. Sharma, Registrar, UEM Jaipur.
The objective of the two days hybrid Conference is to learn and share knowledge among all and those who have rich experience and expertise in relevant areas of science and technology. Keynote and Technical Sessions are arranged to discuss the Challenges, Opportunities and Problems of Internet of Things, Microwave Engineering, Communication and Networks.
This year we have 8 countries participating in IEMECON 2023 with a submission of 286 papers and an acceptance rate of 18.88%. There was participants from eight countries like Germany, Kosovo, UK, Taiwan, USA, Taiwan, Egypt and India.
The first keynote speaker Mr. Sandeep Shekhawat, Director of Engineering at Walmart Global Tech, USA, came from USA to give a talk on how AI+IoT can play a pivotal role in retail industry. Mr. Sandeep is leading the Associate productivity team in Walmart Global Tech, USA. Prior to this he was with Facebook/WhatsApp, Apple and Yahoo, with a total of 15 years of industry experience. His expertise is in areas of enterprise AI + Internet of Things for Smart Retail. At Apple he applied the biggest retail application of IoT, he built and scaled IoT applications for millions of devices at Apple. More recently he has been furthering the IoT solutions and their applications at Walmart Retail stores (one of the largest Retailers by footprint) to enable efficient store operations by collecting data from devices and machinery in the stores.
The second keynote speaker Mr. Aninda Sankar Sukla, Lead Sr. Data Scientist, Aays Analytics, India. He is a Lead Sr. Data Scientist and Consultant with strong theoretical skills and a passion for Data science. In his talk he presented how Data Scienceis used in finance area. As a data scientist his Responsibilities included building POC related to the data science domain for clients, creating IPs like Publishing Papers, doing research and coming up with new ideas that can be used as business-driven solutions.
The Keynote sessions was followed by Technical sessions. Today there were four Technical Sessions where 24 papers were presented by different authors on topics covering IoT, 5G antennas, Artificial intelligence, etc.

The conclave featured inspiring addresses by Dr. Naveen Kumar Sharma and Dr. Anil Khandelwal, with Dr. Pradeep Sharma, Registrar, UEM Jaipur, being felicitated as the Chief Guest. On 7th September 2025, the students of Atrang: The Cultural Club of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur, had the remarkable opportunity to participate in the Jaipur chapter of Mood Indigo Multicity, hosted at the vibrant VGU campus.
On 7th September 2025, the students of Atrang: The Cultural Club of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur, had the remarkable opportunity to participate in the Jaipur chapter of Mood Indigo Multicity, hosted at the vibrant VGU campus. Mood Indigo, IIT Bombay’s annual cultural extravaganza, stands as Asia’s largest celebration of art, music, theatre, and dance, and the Jaipur edition gave our students the platform to showcase their creativity and competitive spirit. Our students participated across a wide spectrum of events—Mantra (group singing), MI Idol (solo singing), Aagaaz (street play), Desi Beats (dance), and MI: The Best (multi-skill showcase). Each performance reflected their talent, passion, and determination. Among these, a moment of immense pride came when UEM Jaipur secured third place in Mantra, earning a ticket to perform on the grand final stage at IIT Bombay. This achievement is not only a milestone but also an inspiration, as our students prepare to represent UEM Jaipur on one of the country’s most prestigious cultural platforms. More than a competition, the event was an experience of learning, growth, and creative exchange—every performance witnessed, every interaction made, and every applause received added to their journey of excellence.
