IEM was honored by the Outstanding Engineering Institute (East) award, UEM was honored by the Most Innovative Private University award, and Dr. Satyajit Chakrabarti was honored by the “Edupreneur of the year” award on February 18, 2017 at the Hotel Taj Lands End, Mumbai by DNA newsgroup, BBC Knowledge.

University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur proudly shares that the UEM Jaipur Toastmasters Club has taken a meaningful step towards community engagement by mentoring the newly forming Jagatpura Speakers Toastmasters Club, a community platform for corporates and working professionals in Jagatpura and nearby areas of Jaipur. During April and May, dedicated members of the club conducted mentoring sessions every Sunday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, helping aspiring speakers strengthen their communication, public speaking, and leadership skills — the core values of the Toastmasters journey. Key Highlights of the Mentoring Sessions: Conducting structured speech sessions Providing constructive feedback and evaluations Introducing Toastmasters meeting formats and leadership roles Building confidence and communication effectiveness among participants This initiative reflects the strong culture of leadership, service, and holistic development encouraged at UEM Jaipur, while also strengthening community-oriented learning and collaboration.
