On 24th October, 2016, 24 B.Tech. students of University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Kolkata visited CSIR-CGCRI Optical Fibre Fabrication & Testing Lab to mark “World Day of Photonics” as suggested by European Commission of Industries followed by SPIE, OSA, DST & CSIR.

UEM Kolkata is being currently sponsored one Overseas Student Project from OSA where UEM has collaborated with CSIR-CGCRI.

At UEM Jaipur, approximately 20 campus startups are registered each year, fostering a strong culture of entrepreneurship. Competing against 21 teams in the final round, they demonstrated exceptional skills and innovation to emerge as the winners.
