On 24th October, 2016, 24 B.Tech. students of University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Kolkata visited CSIR-CGCRI Optical Fibre Fabrication & Testing Lab to mark “World Day of Photonics” as suggested by European Commission of Industries followed by SPIE, OSA, DST & CSIR.
UEM Kolkata is being currently sponsored one Overseas Student Project from OSA where UEM has collaborated with CSIR-CGCRI.
