The University of Engineering & Management (UEM) is concerned about the environment and power saving.
All buildings of UEM Jaipur have roof top solar panels connected, and a major part of electricity and water heating during winter are achieved from solar energy.
Gourab Banerjee, Priyankar Halder, Indrasish Mukherjee, Somdeep Kabiraj, 2018 passout students of UEM Jaipur under the guidance of their teacher Aritra Roy, developed a model of the buildings driven by complete solar electricity, and gifted that to the University for demonstration at the front of UEM Jaipur, before they passed out of the University.
