Date - 25th January, 2017 A press release in Ananda Bazar Patrika on 22nd February, 2017 about the Mega Job Mela-2017 held at UEM campus, New Town, Kolkata on 25th January, 2017. More than 30 companies recruited 162 students from this Mega Job Mela. 5000 applicants from all over West Bengal visited the Mega Job Mela.

Date - 25th February, 2017 The University of Engineering & Management (UEM) is coming up with a National HR meet, to be held at Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore on 25th February, 2017. IISc Bangalore is the topmost pillar of technical education in the country. The most important aspect of the meet is that two students of the UEM students' placement cell will get chance to interact directly with the HRs of top companies. In the HR meet, we will have discussions about the current industry scenario regarding recruitments. Companies like Samsung India Research, Uber India, Flipkart etc are coming.
