Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM), Jaipur under the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur is an *authorized application and test practice centre of the JEE Main exam* (authorized by the JEE Main authority) for admission to the IITs and all other Engineering Colleges / Universities of the country in B.Tech course. We invite students from all over the country to come to our University on any day between Tuesday to Friday and register for the practice test and the actual test. Department of Computer Applications, University of Engineering & Management, Kolkata has organized INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR ON ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND OPTIMIZATION 2018 [ISAIO-2018] in collaboration with Operations Research Society of India on October 10, 2018. The seminar was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Rajiv Ganguly, Dean – Science, UEM Kolkata with the gracious presence of the esteemed speakers Prof. Baoding Liu, Professor of Uncertainty Theory Laboratory, Department of Mathematical Sciences, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China and Prof. Samarjit Kar, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Mathematics, National Institute of Technology, Durgapur. Prof. Kar has enlightened on the Multi-objective optimization techniques and Prof. Liu has delivered on Uncertainty Theories. Indian Society of Lighting Engineers (ISLE) Student Chapter was inaugurated at the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur, followed by Distinguished Speaker Program on 4th October, 2018. This was initiated by the Department of Electrical Engineering & the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering. Dr. Manoj Gupta (ISLE Education Chair), Mr. R. S.
