Awards & Achievements

These are few moments of the intra-UEM football tournament played by the students of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Kolkata. Usually, we don't get to see the UEM players amongst the tough course curriculum and college timings of UEM. On the day of the tournament, we were really astonished to see that, we have such good football players amidst us in UEM. CONGRATULATIONS to all the players, the winners in particular........ IEM Innovation Lab students (ECE 3rd yrs & CSE 3rd yr) team has entered the Semi-Finals of the ‘DST and Texas Instruments India Innovation Challenge Contest 2017’. Our proposal was a Smart Helmet acting as a Bike Companion. Over 18000 participants(1831 teams) from 624 colleges all over India submitted their ideas to the contest. Among them 428 teams were shortlisted for the quarterfinals, out of which 55 teams qualified for the Semi-Finals which will be held on 15th and 22nd of April 2017. IEM Kolkata has opened a student section of the prestigious American Society of Mechanical Engineers.  

This is the team Robomaniax, that University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur is proud of....... They opened their own Robotics company a year back, which is now a big name in the field of Robotics in India. They are doing extraordinary progress and very successful business in the field of Robotics....... Mayank Rajput, Susmita Debnath, Manisha Sinha, Kushal Chakraborty, Riya Medhi, Sushovan Chatterjee, Nilagri Pandey, Akash Chakrabortty, Soubhik Bhanja, Soham Roy, Simi Dhar, Sagarika Deb Choudhury.......

At INDUSTRY ACADEMIA CONCLAVE, organized by MAKAUT more than 50 institution had participated. MAKAUT has appreciated 10 best models, out of which 3 models were prepared by IEM students.
