University of Engineering and Management (UEM), Jaipur, is proud to announce the commencement of Soft Skills Classes from April 1, 2024 to 5 April, 2024 led by esteemed educator, Prof. David D. Perrodin, USA, English Language Specialist. This initiative is a strategic move by UEM Jaipur to enhance the holistic development of its students and equip them with the essential skills required for success in today's competitive world.
Soft skills are increasingly recognized as crucial competencies that complement technical knowledge and expertise. Prof. David D. Perrodin brings a wealth of experience and expertise in this domain, making him the perfect choice to lead this endeavor at UEM Jaipur.
Prof. Perrodin's classes will cover a wide range of soft skills, including communication skills, leadership skills, teamwork, time management, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving abilities. Through interactive sessions, practical exercises, and real-life examples, students will have the opportunity to develop and hone these vital skills.
During the inaugural session of Soft Skills Classes, Prof. (Dr) Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Registrar at UEM Jaipur, said, "In today's dynamic and interconnected world, technical knowledge alone is not sufficient for success. Employers are increasingly seeking candidates who possess strong soft skills, which are essential for effective communication, collaboration, and leadership. By introducing Soft Skills Classes led by Prof. David D. Workshop on How to Apply for Patent in Humanities and Management held at UEM Jaipur A specialized workshop was organized by the Department of English at UEM Jaipur, specifically designed for faculty members. The workshop, titled "How to Apply for Patent in Humanities and Management," held on March 20, 2024, aimed to empower educators with the necessary knowledge and skills essential for patent application processes within these fields. The event commenced with the esteemed presence of Guest Speaker, Dr. Sanjay Arora, President of ELTAl India and Dean of the School of Languages and Linguistics at the Central University of Rajasthan, who was warmly felicitated by Prof. (Dr) Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Registrar, UEM Jaipur and Prof. (Dr) Aniruddha Mukherjee, Dean-Academics,UEM Jaipur. Participants were guided through the intricate procedures involved in filing patents, with a specific focus on applications in the domains of Humanities and Management. From understanding the nuances of patent law to navigating the documentation process, attendees gained a thorough understanding of how to protect their intellectual property effectively. The workshop fostered a dynamic environment for collaboration and knowledge exchange, empowering faculty members with the tools and expertise necessary to safeguard their innovative ideas.
The workshop concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Mukesh Yadav, Head of the Department of English and Humanities. His words of appreciation expressed gratitude to the guest speaker, Dr. Sanjay Arora, and all attendees for their active participation and valuable contributions throughout the session.

The University of Engineering and Management (UEM), Jaipur, successfully hosted the Valedictory Session of the AICTE Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Universal Human Values (UHV). The session marked the culmination of an insightful and enriching journey for the participating faculty members.

The event began with participants enthusiastically sharing their experiences and key takeaways from the program. Their reflections highlighted the profound impact of the FDP in deepening their understanding of universal human values and their significance in academia.

The Valedictory Address was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Biswajoy Chatterjee, Vice Chancellor, UEM Jaipur, who emphasized the importance of fostering brotherhood and harmony in society. Drawing inspiration from visionaries like Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar and Swami Vivekananda, he underscored the timeless principles of compassion, service, and ethical living that form the foundation of universal human values.
