Some Glimpses of the 2nd International Conference on Computational Applied Sciences and Applied Sciences and Applications at the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR The Inaugural Session of the First Day of the Conference was held at UEM JAIPUR campus on 13 July 2023. The session was inaugurated by Prof. Santiago Gómez-Ruiz, Professor, Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Spain); Prof. Ganesh Bagler, Professor, Infosys Centre for Artificial Intelligence Department of Computational Biology, IIIT-Delhi, New Delhi; Dr. Vedavati G. Puranik, Ex-Senior Scientist, Physical & Material Chemistry Division, CSIR, National Chemical Laboratory, Pune; Mr. Saptarshi Basu, Additional Director Tiger Agro Processing Industries Pvt Ltd; Dr. Kushal Sharma, MNIT, Jaipur; Prof. (Dr) Biswajoy Chatterjee, Vice-Chancellor, UEM Jaipur, Prof. Dr. Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Registrar, UEM Jaipur and Dr. Aniruddha Mukherjee, Dean, Academics, UEM Jaipur. On this 1st day of the conference, 5 international and national speakers have given talk on various different topics. 43 students were present in hybrid mode. Students enjoyed the keynote speaker’s session and interacted with the speakers.                

AICTE Approved Faculty Development Program on Universal Human Values at University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR. The Inaugural Session of the First Day of the Faculty Development Program on Universal Human Values was held at the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur on 13th July, 2023. The session was attended by over 50 faculty members from UEM JAIPUR and other colleges. The session was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr) Biswajoy Chatterjee, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur. In his welcome address, Dr. Chatterjee highlighted the importance of universal human values in today's world. He said that universal human values are the foundation of a just and equitable society. He also said that the Faculty Development Program on Universal Human Values would provide faculty members with the knowledge and skills they need to inculcate universal human values in their students. The session was also addressed by Prof. Dr. Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Registrar, University of Engineering and Management, Jaipur, and Prof. Dr. Aniruddha Mukherjee, Dean, Academics of University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur. On this occasion, the felicitation of guests of AICTE Team - Dr. Navin Kumar Sharma - Resource Person, Dr. Piyush Sharma - Co-Facilitator, Dr. Vijay Pal Singh - Observer was also done by the dignitaries of UEM, Jaipur. The following are the topics that were covered in the Faculty Development Program on Universal Human Values: • The methods for inculcating universal human values in students • The role of universal human values in a just and equitable society • The challenges to universal human values in the 21st century • The ways to overcome the challenges to universal human values The Faculty Development Program on Universal Human Values was held over a period of three days. The program was conducted by a team of experts from AICTE. The Faculty Development Program on Universal Human Values was a valuable opportunity for faculty members to learn about the importance of universal human values and how to inculcate them in their students. The program will help faculty members to become more effective educators and to create a more just and equitable society.    

Codesta Coding Club of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR, in association with IIC, and ACM Student Chapter UEMJ, has organized a session on "Angel Investment/VC Funding Opportunity for Early Stage Entrepreneurs" for final year students. Session was taken by Prof. (Dr.) G. Uma Devi, UEM Jaipur. In this session, students got to learn about opportunities to protect innovations, avoid legal pitfalls and maximize profits, exposure to industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, financial support for growth and operations, and access to valuable networks and connections. This was successfully conducted, in the presence of Prof. Jyoti Khandelwal, and Prof. Hriday Banerjee. Special thanks to all the participants and event coordinators for making this event a grand success.

Glimpses of Board of Studies (BoS) meeting of the School of Management, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR, held on 11.07.2023. The meeting focused on 1. Revision of Existing Programme Curriculum. 2. Recommendation of New Curriculum with foreseeable beneficial outcomes. 3. Alignment of Programme curriculum with Placement Opportunities. 4. Developing Educational Resources, Research Initiatives, Innovative pedagogies. 5.Introduction of Management Lab, an initiatives by Kreeti Technologies.

ICHCSC (International Conference on Human-Centric Smart Computing) - IEEE Sponsored Conference, organized by the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR on 5th and 6th July, 2023 at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. 283 papers were submitted and 54 were accepted for publication with 17% acceptance rate. The accepted papers will be indexed in Springer Book Series.          

University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR has imparted literacy to 1500 women across 25 villages of Rajasthan absolutely free of cost. As the first phase of classes for imparting this literacy is over, the exams have started. As we complete 4 days of such exams in 8 villages, with schedule of completing the entire first set of exams in all villages by 14th July 2023, we look forward to all your good wishes towards the University, so that we can continue such noble programs in future also.
