Dr. Imran Khan from the Department of Physiotherapy successfully completed a three-day workshop on sports psychology with the theme "Think Psychology of Peak Performance in Sports." The workshop, conducted from July 26th to 28th, 2024, was organized by the Physical Education Foundation of India (PEFI) in association with the Institute of Sports and Fitness Development (ISFD). This workshop is highly beneficial for students, as it provides valuable insights into the mental strategies and techniques essential for achieving peak performance in sports. This was an Induction Event For Fresher students by our students of The Speech Society, UEM JAIPUR....... The Speech Society (TSS) at the University of Engineering and Management, Jaipur, hosted an engaging induction event for our enthusiastic freshers. The session, led by our passionate second and third-year students, provided a comprehensive introduction to the club's functions and its significant role in major UEM events. Team TSS elaborated on TSS's contributions to public speaking and event management. They highlighted the crucial role of public speaking skills in securing job opportunities, emphasizing how overcoming this fear can make a substantial difference. Second and third-year members shared their transformative experiences with TSS, illustrating how the club has positively impacted their lives. We are very happy to state that Kreeti Technologies has established Elixir (programming language) laboratory at UEM JAIPUR. This is a step towards developing our students industry-ready for the most modern technology. Elixir is a functional, concurrent, high-level general-purpose programming language that runs on the BEAM virtual machine. It can be used for building distributed, fault-tolerant applications. We feel happy to inform all that UEM JAIPUR and Prof. Samrat Saha have been involved in our next industry projects from TruBoard Partners. The first project is on 132 kV Grid Substation design and specification, and the second one is on 132 kV substation earth grid design, both for the industry. Mr. Sudhakar Sundaray, Senior Vice-President, TruBoard Partners , M.Tech, IIT Delhi, visited the campus of UEM JAIPUR, along with his team of engineers and interacted with the students and teachers. They were very impressed with the type of Automation Projects, our students have been doing under the guidance of their teachers. Integration of core departments with AI and AR/VR, and the number of National Level Competitions our students are winning at the IITs and NITs, caught their attention. They did the discussion with our students and faculty members in the form of a seminar on "Renewable Energy - Technologies & Developments", and engaged with the students regarding the following:- 1. Renewable Energy (RE) generation and potential 2. Comparison on Indian and Worldwide RE data 3. RE projections by 2030 4. Hybrid of different RE technologies 5.
