Our students, teachers and researchers of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR have set up this Industrial automation and Robotics Laboratory at the University. The entire laboratory, the equipments, the components and their interaction have been designed and developed by the students, teachers and researchers of the University themselves and have not been purchased or procured from outside. This will serve as the entire industry simulation for the students desiring to learn, and after working here, students can be easily absorbed by industry in the relevant senior positions. The Industrial automation and Robotics Laboratory helps the students to attain detailed knowledge on industrial VFD operation applicable raw material handling conveyor system, boiler feed water flow system where speed of the motor varies to control process input as per product manufacturing operation demands. Further the integration of the total VFD and conveyor system to SCADA for remote station operation, with PLC and their programing in SFC and SQL for operation control development in compliance with the industrial standard protocol RS485 and Enet for SCADA communication will help the students immensely. The newly integrated various motor feeder system like star-delta starter, reverse forward starter and DOL starter panel to the SCADA system for remote motor operation application in various process like boiler feed water flow, gas flow in the for burner etc. is also developed. In this laboratory, we provide hands –on training for the student various feeder panel, VFD installation with conveyor system, VFD programing (like ABB, Yaskwa), PLC programing, SCADA development and In-loop test, FAT and SAT test for the system etc. Also we train students on electrical design of large process, control panel system design on software platform like Autocad, ETAP, EPLAN-Pro etc. This would help our student to get expertise and be industry ready. #TopRankedUniversity #uemian #uem #UEMJaipur

IMPARTING FREE EDUCATION AND LITERACY TO 1500 RURAL WOMEN ACROSS 25 VILLAGES OF RAJASTHAN FROM UEM JAIPUR:- Today, we completed phase 1, where we, from the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR imparted free education and literacy to 1500 rural women across 25 villages of Rajasthan. Every year on the 14th December, National Energy Conservation Day is celebrated in India. This occasion has been celebrated since 1991 when is led by the Ministry of power. This day is celebrated to raise awareness regarding the conservation of energy as it is the best way to have a greener and brighter future. To observe Energy Conservation Day at University of Engineering & Management, Jaipur, Department of Electrical Engineering in association with Institution's Innovation Council organized an " Energy Awareness Quiz", on Dec.14, 2023. We feel very happy with our students of first year of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR working under the technical body named Shunya Club at the University. They have won the Nextech Innovation Challenge at IIIT Delhi, by developing this MedTech Gloves, which are smart medical assistant for doctors, nurse and hospital staffs. The gloves can detect any abnormality in body function of any human being, who has wore it, at any point of time, and report it to the nearest medical facility and doctor, enabling nearest hospital and ambulance to pick up the patient. This can save a patient from sudden heart attack, and other health conditions. They have secured 1st position among 185 teams from all over the country. UEM Jaipur students participated In Toastmasters Event UEM Jaipur students participated in District 98 - Division C Conference on December 3 2023 at JECRC Foundation, Jaipur. Overall twelve students attended the program under the guidance of Prof. Sanchari Basak. The event started with inauguration and introductory speech of Toastmaster Hardik Shah, Area Director of Mumbai Toastmasters Club. Toastmaster Pragya, Area Director of Rajasthan Toastmasters Club hosted the District 98 Championship contest where all the 8 area champions delivered their stories and evaluation of other Toastmasters with effective communication skills, dramaturgy and eloquence using proper stage movement and time management. Students have learnt the process of regular meetings, the role of the members in the club and the pathway to be a public speaker with leadership skills. The program was further proceeded by Toastmaster Avijot Singh Ghai, keynote speaker who shared his journey to be a Toastmaster and explained the significance of effective communication in our professional and personal life. He also conducted a game which helped to build up active interaction among the audience. Then Toastmaster Vishal Garg, Director of District 98 shared the progress report of the clubs in each area which highlighted their annual achievements and future goals. Next the winner of the contest was declared and felicitated with medal and certificate. In the last session the newly joined members in different Toastmasters clubs gave their Ice-Breaker Speech. The spirit of the program and its positive attitude encouraged and inspired the students to be future Toastmasters.
