The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the University of Engineering and Management (UEM), Jaipur, successfully conducted a five-day Short-Term Training Program (STTP) on "MATLAB for Scientific Computations" from March 3rd to March 7th.
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the University of Engineering and Management (UEM), Jaipur, successfully conducted a five-day Short-Term Training Program (STTP) on "MATLAB for Scientific Computations" from March 3rd to March 7th. The program was designed for second- and third-year students from the Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering departments, with sessions held daily from 3:30 PM to 4:45 PM.
The sessions were led by Dr. Vishal Kumar Pandey, Associate Professor, ECE Department, who extends his heartfelt gratitude to Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Registrar, and Dr. Prashant Ranjan, H.O.D., ECE, for the opportunity to conduct this training. Special appreciation is also extended to Dr. Ankit Kumar Sharma, H.O.D., Electrical Engineering, and Dr. Umesh Gurnani, H.O.D., Mechanical Engineering, for their support in encouraging student participation.
The successful execution of the program was made possible through the efforts of Mr. Ladu Ram Gujar and dedicated student coordinators, Debraj and Arghyajit, whose contributions ensured a seamless learning experience.

We are proud to announce that Taniya Kanwar, a B.Tech 1st-year CSE student at University of Engineering and Management (UEM), Jaipur, has been awarded a Scholarship Grant of ₹4 lakhs (₹1 lakh per year) under the Deutsche Bank Engineering Scholarship for Girls Education program. She is among 42 students selected from various colleges in Jaipur City and one of 205 female candidates across India from the 2024 admission batch to receive this prestigious scholarship.
The felicitation ceremony was held at the Deutsche Bank Jaipur office, where Dilip Khandelwal (CEO - Deutsche India), Simriti Sharma (Managing Director, Deutsche Bank), and Manish Bansal (CSR Head, Deutsche Bank) presented the scholarship recipients with an official Letter of Scholarship Grant and an HP laptop. The event was attended by the students' guardians and representatives from their respective institutions, celebrating this significant achievement.
UEM Jaipur extends its sincere gratitude to Smile Foundation for facilitating this valuable association with Deutsche Bank. Notably, Taniya Kanwar is the eighth female student from UEM Jaipur to receive this scholarship in the past three years, reflecting our commitment to empowering women in engineering.

Competing against 104 participants from leading colleges and universities, they won a cash prize of ₹20,000 for their outstanding performance.

The festival commenced with a warm Welcome Tea, followed by the ceremonial Lighting of the Lamp, marking an auspicious beginning. Our esteemed Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Biswajoy Chatterjee, set the stage with his Welcome Address, emphasizing UEM Jaipur’s commitment to literature and academia. Prof. Rajul Bhargava, Founder and Editor of Voices, highlighted the evolving literary landscape in her Opening Remarks.
The Chief Guest, Prof. Sudhi Rajiv, Vice Chancellor of Haridev Joshi University of Journalism and Mass Communication, delivered an insightful address on "Making the World Women Fit," shedding light on gender narratives and empowerment in literature.
The LitFest featured a series of thought-provoking discussions:
