This year the IEM team also won the Social Media Champ award in addition to the Champion Award. The team of dedicated and brilliant students under the leadership of Prof. Avijit Bose Sir and the IEM Entrepreneurship-cell worked day and night tirelessly to win this year.

IEM & UEM will be organizing the IEEE IEMCON 2016 conference in Vancouver, Canada from October 13 - 15.
Students, Alumni and Faculty are invited to submit research papers to this prestigious conference. Accepted papers will be published in the IEEE Xplore digital library.
A delegation of teachers and students will be going to Vancouver, Canada from October 11 to October 19. Then the delegation will go to New York, USA from October 19 to October 29. Students interested in going with the delegation are requested to contact Prof. Sanghamitra Poddar in IEM and Prof. Sukalyan Goswami in UEM Kolkata and Prof. Biswajoy Chatterjee in UEM Jaipur.
The event is recognized by Government of Canada. Last year all the students got 10 years Canadian Visa to attend.
IEEE IEMCON 2016 will give tremendous opportunity for networking with Professors from USA and Canada and other countries. The students will also be able to discuss higher education opportunities in the Professors research groups.

IEMCON 2015
We have successfully conducted the IEMCON 2015 - International Conference on Computing and Communication in the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada.
There were more than 100 delegates from more than 25 countries in a packed auditorium in the University of British Columbia.
