An interactive session was organized for the English club students of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM) with a group of students from USA. [gallery columns="4" ids="3358,3359,3360,3361"]

Tree Plantation program was held at the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Kolkata. The importance of trees in purifying the air, as natural resources, maintaining the ecological balance, preventing soil erosion, as medicines, habitats for faunal species, providing nutrients to the soil etc. is well known. Thus, understanding the importance of trees in our nature, Tree Plantation program was held at the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Kolkata. Trees were planted by - 1) Shri G. K. Pillai, IAS, Chancellor, UEM Jaipur, Former Union Home Secretary, Govt of India, Member, Board of Directors, TATA International. 2) Prof Dr Basudeb Barman, Former Vice-Chancellor, Kalyani University. 3) Prof Dr Satyajit Chakrabarti, Chancellor, UEM Kolkata. 4) Shri Amit Kiran Deb, IAS, Former Chief Secretary, Govt of West Bengal. 5) Prof Dr T. The IEM-UEM group #placement has started with a bang this year also. Only in the first month of placement season 75% students of IEM-UEM group have been placed. With 11 months of placement still remaining, this year also, IEM-UEM group will again make record of 2-3 placements for all its students like all the previous 10 years. IEM BCA Department have created one more record. Deloitte India have recruited 3 students from IEM BCA 2016 batch. We are proud to say Deloitte India has recruited our students directly as freshers for the first time ever. Placements are continuously going on at the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur. Kreeti Technologies conducted pool campus for all engineering students of Rajasthan (on 12th and 13th November) and selected only 2 from the entire state. One of them was from the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur (Mr. Palash Bera, ECE). 5 local students of Jaipur also got selected in Bhansali Cables and Conductors on 10th November.
