University of Engineering and Management (UEM), Jaipur Toastmasters Club successfully organized Speech Marathon in collaboration with Jaipur Toastmasters Club (JTC) on 25th January 2025.
University of Engineering and Management (UEM), Jaipur Toastmasters Club successfully organized Speech Marathon in collaboration with Jaipur Toastmasters Club (JTC) on 25th January 2025. Our club mentors TM Lokendra and TM Kamlesh along with 13 other Toastmasters from Jaipur Toastmasters Club joined the meeting. We also hosted Mr. Rahul Doon, a guest and visitor to our club. The theme of the meeting was "Pahad hain, Chad Jao". There were 5 prepared speeches by TM Neeraj (JTC), TM Stuti (UEMJ), TM Krishnanshu (JTC), TM Radhika (UEMJ) TM Rohit (JTC) This was followed by 5 evaluation speeches delivered by TM Krishna(JTC), TM Sagnik(UEMJ), TM Palak(JTC), TM Abhishek(UEMJ) TM Kamlesh(JTC). There were the Aux Role Players: Timer TM Suman(UEMJ) Ah-counter TM Sanchari(UEMJ) Grammarian TM Fahim(JTC) Hark Master TM Shibagni(UEMJ). It was indeed a program full of energy and enthusiasm among the performers and the audience. The members exercised public speaking and collaborative learning in an unique way. The best performers were elected through voting among the members. The members of UEM Jaipur Toastmasters Club bagged 3 awards within the 4 categories. Best Aux Role Player TM Shibagni Best Evaluator TM Sagnik Best Table Topic Speaker TM Sagnik This hype of the event continued to an enchanting short trip to Samod which facilitated to maintain the strong bond among the members of both the clubs. Congratulations to all the awardees and the members for successfully organising such a wonderful event. The University of Engineering and Management (UEM), Jaipur proudly hosted UEM LitFest 2025 in collaboration with Voices, bringing together an inspiring assembly of literary minds, scholars, and creative voices. This year's theme, "A Journey from Puranas to New Stories," beautifully connected classical narratives with contemporary storytelling.
The University of Engineering and Management (UEM), Jaipur proudly hosted UEM LitFest 2025 in collaboration with Voices, bringing together an inspiring assembly of literary minds, scholars, and creative voices. This year's theme, "A Journey from Puranas to New Stories," beautifully connected classical narratives with contemporary storytelling. The festival commenced with a warm Welcome Tea, followed by the ceremonial Lighting of the Lamp, marking an auspicious beginning. Our esteemed Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Biswajoy Chatterjee, set the stage with his Welcome Address, emphasizing UEM Jaipur’s commitment to literature and academia. Prof. Rajul Bhargava, Founder and Editor of Voices, highlighted the evolving literary landscape in her Opening Remarks. The Chief Guest, Prof. Sudhi Rajiv, Vice Chancellor of Haridev Joshi University of Journalism and Mass Communication, delivered an insightful address on "Making the World Women Fit," shedding light on gender narratives and empowerment in literature. The LitFest featured a series of thought-provoking discussions: •Troubled Testimonies & Nostalgic Reminiscences – A deep dive into memory, trauma, and literature with Meenakshi Bharat & Neha Bansal in conversation with Sudha Rai. •Myriad Musings & Pictorial Storytelling – Exploring visual and textual storytelling with Rachna Singh & Tabeenah Anjum, moderated by Mini Nanda. •Mythopoesis & Mythology Revisited – A modern reinterpretation of ancient myths with Ashutosh Singh & Jaishree Bhargava. •Flames of Distant Mountains – A heartfelt exploration of displacement, identity, and belonging with Misna Chanu & Urmil Talwar. •Ways of Seeing—Reseeing – A fresh perspective on literature and art with Ronojoy Sircar & Maheeka Nanda. The festival concluded with the prestigious Literary Excellence Icon Awards, recognizing outstanding contributions to literature. Dr. Mukesh Yadav delivered a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to all the speakers, organizers, and participants. The UEM LitFest 2025 stood as a testament to the transformative power of storytelling, bridging the past with the present and inspiring the future.
