Visit of WIPRO delegates to the Mechanical Workshop of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur.
Mr. Anil Kisan Domkawle, WIPRO interacted with the students and praised the students for their development of All Terrain Vehicle, Go Kart, Racing Car and Monster Bike from scratch. He also came up with several suggestions and possible future directions on the same.
Mr. Shivraj Dhaka, CII-IGBC (Indian Green Building Council), delivered his talk on 26th November, 2018 on “Cognitive Skills and Critical Thinking” at the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur.
Dr. Shivraj Dhaka, CII-IGBC (Indian Green Building Council) has over 10 years of rich experience in industry and academia. Shivraj Dhaka is a Gold Medalist in Post-Graduation from MNIT Jaipur and he is an alumni of DAAD, Germany. Dr. Dhaka carries out extensive research on Comfort Cooling. He has published more than 16 research articles in referred International Journals and Conferences. His areas of interest include Green Buildings, Comfort Cooling, Building Simulation and savings through retro-commissioning. He is leading in Green Building certification services for Green Data Centers, Green Factories, and Existing Buildings. Dr Shivraj Dhaka has been instrumental in developing IGBC Data Center rating system. He received Energy Conservation Award from Govt. of Rajasthan in 2012.

Mr. Ali Hasan Khan, Project Engineer, Design2Occupancy Services LLP delivered a talk today i.e. on 27th November 2018 on “Career and Research opportunities in Green Buildings and Energy Efficiency Sectors” at University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur.
Mr. Ali Hasan Khan is a GRIHA Certified Professional, HVAC Professional and the Chair of ISHRAE Jaipur.
Indian Society of Lighting Engineers (ISLE) Student Chapter, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur and Institution’s Innovation Council, IEM Jaipur under Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India present an Interactive Session on “Career and Research opportunities in Green Buildings and Energy Efficiency Sectors” by Mr. Hasan Ali Khan, Project Engineer, Design2Occupancy Services LLP on 27th November, 2018, 10:30 am onwards at UEM Jaipur premises.
Mr. Hasan Ali Khan is a GRIHA certified professional, HVAC professional and holds the chair of ISHRAE Jaipur Chapter. He has successfully completed more than 35 green building energy certifications.
Science Olympiad was organized at the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur on 26th November, 2018. Technical project exhibition was a major attraction, and thousands of students from different schools came in to visit the projects.

The University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur is organising Science Olympiad for the school students on 26th and 27th November, 2018. There will be a technical exhibition, followed by a series of interesting events. Students from various schools have registered to participate in the event.

UEM Code Storm – International Coding Competition was organized by the UEM Jaipur ACM Student Chapter in association with Department of Computer Science & Engineering, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur.
720 teams (3 members max in each team) participated in the competition, from countries all across the world like:-

There was participation from all IITs.
The organization of the competition was initiated by Prof. Rupayan Das and Prof. Sauvik Bal, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur.
University of Engineering & Management, Kolkata witnessed ‘Google’ at its best!
The day was fulfilled with:
i) Lots of tech-talks about different Google products, both existing and upcoming by many renowned top-end developers certified by Google. These include Google services across the country like free wifi, mobile services, etc. Then discussion about mobile app development with less lines of code but with better implementation and optimization. And then about Machine Learning and its uses in the future in Google. The discussion about automated chat-bots using Artificial Intelligence is also encouraged.
ii) ‘Women Tech-makers’ challenge, their journey throughout their life, the journey from almost nobody to a leading Google developers. The women empowerment, that should also reflect to the Technology building is also discussed on a specific ‘panel discussion’ session.
iii) Fun activities with the audience, i.e., the enthusiastic student developers, the working professionals, everyone. The activities include quiz, interactive sessions, question-answer session, etc.
iv) The last but not the least, the event ended with around 3-4 hours discussion about “flutter”, Google own’s open-source mobile application development SDK. These include live developing of apps using flutter technology created by Google.
