National Education Day
National Education Day is in India is observed to pay a tribute the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad.As the first minister of education of independent India, his birthday is measured as the launch of a new education system. As a major promoter of Indian independence, Dr. Maulana Abul Kalam Azad was considered as the pioneer of Hindu-Muslim unity, secularism, and socialism. Maulana Abul Kalam Azad’s father was a renowned scholar of Islamic education who was from Delhi and later moved to Mecca after the Sepoy Rebellion. Here, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad was born on the 11th of November 1888 .
The urge for procuring education in an all round aspect grew in him and this can be seen though the diversification in his educational mastery where he mastered in multiple languages which included Urdu, Persian, Arabic, Hindi, Bengali, and English.
On the occasion of this auspicious day and on the occasion of birth anniversary of Dr. Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, and the students of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur celebrated the same with great enthusiasm with events like Elocution and Essay writing. The main focus was to bring out the essential elements of diversifying knowledge.
The students got a boost with accreditation and appraisals from the faculty members where the first three position holders will be awarded with certificates and cash prizes.Tech This is a sizeable initiative that through such celebrations, the young generation is learning about some of our leaders and patriots who took part in shaping the nation’s future during pre-Independence era and as well as in some part of the post-Independence.
