University of Engineering & Management (UEM) Kolkata students with the car which they developed and manufactured at SAE-SUPRA 2018. [gallery columns="2" ids="6565,6566"]

The University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur is proud to receive a letter of appreciation from Shri Haider Aziz Safwi, Deputy Speaker, West Bengal Legislative Assembly, Former Minister for Cooperation and inland water transport, Govt. of West Bengal and Former Minister for correctional administration, Govt. of West Bengal.

We are proud to announce that the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur has been selected 1 out of the 100 institutes of the country, and the only University of Rajasthan by BMW for its “Skill Next" programme, launched by cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar. As part of the program, a laboratory will be set up at UEM Jaipur with a state-of-the-art BMW engine and transmission unit (worth Rs 14 lakhs), to be provided free of cost to our University for learning purposes. These will be  BMW’s proprietary TwinPower Turbo In-Line 4-Cylinder Diesel Engine and Eight-Speed Steptronic Automatic Transmission. Also post-handover, a free training and workshop will be provided by 40 Master Technicians of BMW. Hello, I am Rounak Dey, B.Tech Civil Engineering 2018 passout batch, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur. I am placed in MKC INFRASTUCTURE LTD. a well known core company in Civil Engineering, from my University placements. I have joined the company and working in a National Level Government Project for Rajkot Morbi National Highway (70 km) in Gujarat. It is a limited company established in 1963 and doing national level project since then. It has branch offices all over India. Getting job in a core company in today's job market scenario is so hard and specially in a limited company. I am lucky to be a student of UEM Jaipur. My University has given me the opportunity for getting this reputed core sector job.I am thankful to the placement team of UEM JAIPUR, and thankful to all my department faculty members. To start with, I would always thank my Electronics & Communication Engineering Department of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur, from where I proudly belong to, for the immense support and sound education from some of our wonderful professors. From clearing doubts to grooming us to become better professionals in the near future, UEM Jaipur plays a crucial part in my life. I was in the 12th standard when I decided to take up Electronics & Communication Engineering, and I must say, that my professors have played a very important role in catalysing my interest in Electronics and there was no looking back. There is no doubt in the fact that our University times were the best, for UEM Jaipur has gifted me with many things, many memories and that I definitely owe to my University a lot. After 4 years, UEM Jaipur has given a proud engineering graduate to my parents and to the world. I wish all the good luck to my college for it may achieve more in the many years to come. Prashant Devanda, B.Tech Civil Engineering, 2018 passout student of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur passed out of the University one month back and is already working in Quality Control Lab at MKC Infrastructure Ltd, designated as Quality Control Engineer. Quality Control is one of the most important parameter and the most important department of MKC Infrastructure Limited. Prashant is responsible for the overall quality and grade of civil engineering works in his site, including major highway constructions. Students of UEM are really very good.
