BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Arnab Debnath, Manish Parsar, Siddharth Majumdar, Rajdeep Roy and Arghadip Aratdar, students of 3rd year of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur for having been doing their internship at the prestigious BMW.

An Educational Tour was conducted for students of B.Tech, Mechanical Engineering of University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur at Birla Science Centre, BITS Pilani campus on 23rd March 2019. Birla Science Centre inbuilt at BITS Pilani campus shows how science and technology has developed in India over years and how industries have led to a rapid growth, by exhibiting it in form of a lot of interesting science projects in an interactive manner. From energy conversion to agriculture, from chemical technology to coal mines, from electronics to aerodynamics, from transportation to human biology and many more genres of science and technology including Space Science, Robotics and AI got exhibited very systematically creating a thorough understanding for students. In the process of learning Arduino and Fingerprint based Automation, 1st year students of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur - Arindam Moitra and Sankha Suvra Raj, Koushik Ghosh, Bhaskar Biswas and Sunanda Samanta have developed a Fingerprint based door lock, as a part of their semester macro-assignment. The students of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur - Gunjan Paul and Ashis Kumar Singh have developed a 3-D Air Mouse and Gaming Console in the Innovation Laboratory of the University under their mentor Mr. Shopan Dey. Through this, the entire operation of the Mouse and Gaming Control can be done from Android Mobile Phone. Instead of using any mouse, the Android Mobile Phone can be used to move the mouse pointers and click on relevant position. This may be extremely useful in Power Point Presentations.
