A specialized workshop was organized by the Department of English at UEM Jaipur, specifically designed for faculty members. The workshop, titled “How to Apply for Patent in Humanities and Management,” held on March 20, 2024, aimed to empower educators with the necessary knowledge and skills essential for patent application processes within these fields.
The event commenced with the esteemed presence of Guest Speaker, Dr. Sanjay Arora, President of ELTAl India and Dean of the School of Languages and Linguistics at the Central University of Rajasthan, who was warmly felicitated by Prof. (Dr) Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Registrar, UEM Jaipur and Prof. (Dr) Aniruddha Mukherjee, Dean-Academics,UEM Jaipur.

Participants were guided through the intricate procedures involved in filing patents, with a specific focus on applications in the domains of Humanities and Management. From understanding the nuances of patent law to navigating the documentation process, attendees gained a thorough understanding of how to protect their intellectual property effectively. The workshop fostered a dynamic environment for collaboration and knowledge exchange, empowering faculty members with the tools and expertise necessary to safeguard their innovative ideas.

The workshop concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Mukesh Yadav, Head of the Department of English and Humanities. His words of appreciation expressed gratitude to the guest speaker, Dr. Sanjay Arora, and all attendees for their active participation and valuable contributions throughout the session.
Subsequently, all participants were presented with certificates of participation as a token of acknowledgment for their enthusiastic involvement in the workshop. Overall, the workshop on filing patents proved to be a resounding success, equipping participants with practical skills and insights essential for navigating the complex landscape of intellectual property protection.

Multiple Victories Across India: Several UEM Jaipur students, including Tejas Kharkar, Ashish Kumar Jha, Manmohan Singh, Himanshu Jangid, Mayank Sharma, Rajput Yashu, Divyansh Sachdev, and Mohit Raj, achieved significant wins in competitions held at NIT Srinagar, SLIET Punjab, RGIPT UP, and JECRC Jaipur. Campus Placement Success: The university proudly celebrates the placement of its final-year students at Metacube Software as IT Developers, with an impressive starting salary of ₹6.5 LPA. The recruited students include Soumen Pal, Anushree Agarwala, Avinash Kumar Mehta, Aman Sharma, Sourabh Chhipa, Debabrata Maity, Anurag Kumar, Swayam Khatter, Shanu Aaryan, and Gopendu Manna. Leadership in Event Management: Our students successfully volunteered in organizing a Teachers’ Award Program for school educators, further demonstrating their leadership and organizational skills.
