The University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur is proud to share that Dr. Khan, a faculty member of the university, participated in the 7th International Conference on Environmental Geotechnology, Recycled Waste Materials and Sustainable Engineering (EGRWSE-2026). The conference was held from 22nd to 25th October 2026 in Surat, Gujarat.
About the Conference
The conference was jointly organised by NIT Surat, the Indian Geotechnical Society (IGS) Surat Chapter, the University of Illinois Chicago (USA), and NIT Jalandhar. It brought together researchers, academicians and experts in Geotechnical Engineering from India and abroad.
Research Presentation and Short Course
At the conference, Dr. Khan attended a specialised short course on “Sustainable and Resilient Engineering: Drivers, Metrics, Tools, and Applications.” He also presented his research paper titled “Application of Artificial Neural Network for Predicting Gas Permeability of Geosynthetic Clay Liners.”

His research paper has also been published in Lecture Notes in Civil Engineering by Springer, Singapore, a Scopus-indexed publication series.
