Valedictory Session of AICTE Approved 3 Days FDP on Universal Human Values held at University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR.

The Valedictory Session of the Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Universal Human Values was held at the University of Engineering and Management Jaipur on 15th July 2023. The session was presided over by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof (Dr) Biswajoy Chatterjee.

The session began by reading the report of the 3 Days FDP presented by Prof. (Dr) Mukesh Yadav, Local Program Coordinator. He said that the course had been very well-received by the faculty members which they have expressed time and again in the sharing sessions. He further requested faculty members to remain committed to their UH journey after observing positive changes and it should be reflected in their all walks of life. Few faculty members also shared their experiences, and learning during the FDP.

Thereafter, the distinguished guests of NCCIP AICTE Team – Dr Navin Kumar Sharma (Resource Person), Dr Piyush Sharma ((Co-Facilitator), Dr VijayPal Singh (Observer) were felicitated by UEM Jaipur dignitaries.

The Valedictory Address was delivered by Prof. (Dr) Biswajoy Chatterjee. He

congratulated the faculty members on their participation in the FDP and said that he was confident that they would continue to promote universal human values in their teaching and research. He also said that each one of use should express brotherhood in our behavion.

The Vote of Thanks was given by the Registrar, Prof. (Dr) Pradeep Kumar Sharma. He thanked the Vice-Chancellor, the faculty members, and the organizers of the FDP for their successful completion of the course. He also said that the university would continue to organize such FDP in the future as well.

The Valedictory Session ended with token of appreciation presented to Prof.Sanchari Basak and Prof. Shivani Saini for being the master of ceremonies.

On 7th September 2025, the students of Atrang: The Cultural Club of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur, had the remarkable opportunity to participate in the Jaipur chapter of Mood Indigo Multicity, hosted at the vibrant VGU campus.
On 7th September 2025, the students of Atrang: The Cultural Club of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur, had the remarkable opportunity to participate in the Jaipur chapter of Mood Indigo Multicity, hosted at the vibrant VGU campus. Mood Indigo, IIT Bombay’s annual cultural extravaganza, stands as Asia’s largest celebration of art, music, theatre, and dance, and the Jaipur edition gave our students the platform to showcase their creativity and competitive spirit. Our students participated across a wide spectrum of events—Mantra (group singing), MI Idol (solo singing), Aagaaz (street play), Desi Beats (dance), and MI: The Best (multi-skill showcase). Each performance reflected their talent, passion, and determination. Among these, a moment of immense pride came when UEM Jaipur secured third place in Mantra, earning a ticket to perform on the grand final stage at IIT Bombay. This achievement is not only a milestone but also an inspiration, as our students prepare to represent UEM Jaipur on one of the country’s most prestigious cultural platforms. More than a competition, the event was an experience of learning, growth, and creative exchange—every performance witnessed, every interaction made, and every applause received added to their journey of excellence.
