University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur Organizes Digital Literacy Program at Government Senior Secondary School, Udaipuria
October 8, 2024, Udaipuria – The University of Engineering and Management (UEM), Jaipur, in collaboration with the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) and the National Service Scheme (NSS), conducted a Digital Literacy and Career Counseling Program at Government Senior Secondary School, Udaipuria. The program focused on promoting digital literacy among students and guiding them on career paths in today’s evolving digital landscape.
Representing UEM Jaipur, Dr. Mukesh Yadav, Associate Dean of Academics and Foreign Relations, Dr. B. S. Yadav, Director of Physical Education and Program Officer of NSS, Prof. Dipta Mukherjee, PROCTOR and Coordinator of UBA, Prof. Pravesh Bansal, Prof. Ashutosh Gautam, Mr. Mahesh Jat, and Mr. Jay Rawat attended and hosted the event. The program was attended by the students of classes 11th and 12th, who actively participated in discussions on the significance of digital literacy in shaping their future careers.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Pravesh Bansal emphasized the importance of equipping students with essential digital skills to thrive in the modern world. He also highlighted UEM Jaipur’s commitment to extending support to underprivileged and marginalized students by offering regular basic computer courses to enhance their digital competency.
This initiative aligns with UEM Jaipur’s broader goal of contributing to the nation’s educational development by empowering students from rural and marginalized communities. Through such programs, UEM Jaipur aims to ensure that all students, regardless of their backgrounds, have access to quality education and digital resources.
