UMANG is an initiative run by the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR

UMANG is an initiative run by the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR in the University premises, in association with Rotary Club and Singer, to provide free sewing training to rural women across 5 different villages adopted by the University.
The intent is that these women can setup their own establishments and earn their livelihood and also arrange the same for others.
We feel extremely happy and satisfied as people belonging to teaching fraternity to see these women sewing their own clothes and posing for pictures.

Her research, titled “Analysis of the Parameters Influencing Different Properties of the Conducting Fluids”, was completed under Manipal University Jaipur, showcasing her academic depth, dedication, and contribution to the field of applied mathematics. University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur proudly shares that Prof. Sougata Banerjee, Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, had the honour of representing the university at the prestigious MIDAS Symposium 2025, held on Saturday, April 26th, 2025, at the EROS Hotel, New Delhi. Themed “Spanning Innovations in Design of Bridges,” the symposium brought together leading minds from around the globe to delve into transformative topics in structural and bridge engineering, including engineering marvels and the integration of AI in structural analysis. The event featured insightful sessions from some of the most respected experts in the field, including: Mr. Alok Bhowmick, Managing Director, B&S Engineering Consultants Dr. Yogendra Singh, Professor & Former Head, Earthquake Engineering, IIT Roorkee Dr. Essam Abdou, Principal & Head of Bridges Engineering, DAR AL Handash, Egypt Mr. V. Karthik, Engineering Manager - Bridge, Jacobs …and many other esteemed professionals whose contributions made the symposium a resounding success.
