UEM Jaipur Physiotherapy Students and Faculty members Participated in Jaipur Half Marathon
On August 4, 2024, students from the Physiotherapy Department of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur, enthusiastically participated in the Jaipur Half Marathon. This event, organized under the initiative “Amputation Free World” by the Vascular Society of India, aimed to raise awareness and support for the cause of saving limbs and lives.
The marathon saw active participation from the students, along with faculty members Dr. Imran Khan, Dr. Aasifa Khan, and Mr. Anuj Sethi. Their involvement highlighted their commitment to applying their knowledge and skills in a real-world setting while promoting the importance of physical fitness and community engagement.
By joining this marathon, UEM Jaipur’s physiotherapy students and faculty demonstrated their support for the cause and their readiness to contribute to society’s well-being. Their participation was a proud moment for the university, showcasing the spirit of teamwork and dedication to making a positive impact in the community.

Themed “Spanning Innovations in Design of Bridges,” the symposium brought together leading minds from around the globe to delve into transformative topics in structural and bridge engineering, including engineering marvels and the integration of AI in structural analysis. The event featured insightful sessions from some of the most respected experts in the field, including: Mr. Alok Bhowmick, Managing Director, B&S Engineering Consultants Dr. Yogendra Singh, Professor & Former Head, Earthquake Engineering, IIT Roorkee Dr. Essam Abdou, Principal & Head of Bridges Engineering, DAR AL Handash, Egypt Mr. V. Karthik, Engineering Manager - Bridge, Jacobs …and many other esteemed professionals whose contributions made the symposium a resounding success.
