
UUniversity of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur, in proud association with NEWS18 Rajasthan, successfully organised the prestigious “Shikshit Beti, Sunahara Rajasthan” Summit, a powerful platform dedicated to celebrating and strengthening the cause of girls’ education, empowerment, and leadership in the state. The summit reflected the shared vision that an educated daughter is the foundation of a progressive and prosperous Rajasthan.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from UEM Jaipur’s leadership, faculty members, and girl students, showcasing the university’s deep commitment to nurturing confident, capable, and future-ready women. UEM Jaipur was represented by Prof. Dr. Biswajoy Chatterjee (Vice-Chancellor), Prof. Dr. Pradeep Kumar Sharma (Registrar & Provost), Prof. Dr. Preeti Sharma, Dr. Sapna Malla, Dr. Neha Vyas, Dr. Shweta Pareek, Dr. Risha Sharma, Dr. Ruma Rajbhar, along with a vibrant group of girl students, symbolising an inclusive and empowering academic culture.
A cultural highlight of the summit was a stunning folk dance performance by UEM Jaipur girl students, celebrating Rajasthan’s rich heritage while conveying the spirit of confidence, creativity, and women’s strength—beautifully illustrating how education empowers young women to express themselves with pride and purpose.
The summit was honoured by the presence of Shri Madan Dilawar, Hon’ble Education Minister, Government of Rajasthan, as the Chief Guest, and Smt. Ranu Sharma, Additional DCP (Traffic – South), Jaipur, as the Guest of Honour, whose inspiring words reinforced the importance of education, safety, leadership, and opportunity for girls.
Through this meaningful initiative, UEM Jaipur once again reaffirmed its commitment to empowering girls through education, innovation, cultural pride, and inclusive growth—contributing towards a truly Sunahara Rajasthan.
