Transit of mercury on the face of sun was a phenomena which was visible from Kolkata on May 9th. This was observed by the faculty members and students of the University of Engineering & Management, Kolkata from the University roof, using Reflecting telescope, which has been funded by the Optical Society of America to the University.
The SPIE and OSA student chapters of the University of Engineering & Management organized this sky watch.
