The Valedictory Session for the Soft Skills Classes, conducted by Prof. David D. Perrodin, was held on 5 April, 2024 at Basement Seminar Hall. This session marked the culmination of a week-long journey of learning and growth for all participants.
The event commenced with the felicitation of Prof. David D. Perrodin by Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Kumar Sharma. Prof. Perrodin was honored with a token of appreciation in recognition of his exemplary leadership and dedication throughout the duration of the classes. His unwavering commitment to imparting essential soft skills and fostering personal development has been instrumental in shaping the experiences of the participants.
Following the felicitation, students had the opportunity to share their reflections and experiences gained during the Soft Skills Classes. Each testimonial highlighted the significant impact of the classes on enhancing communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Students expressed gratitude for the invaluable knowledge acquired and the positive transformations witnessed in their personal and professional lives.
The Valedictory Session concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. Mukesh Yadav, Head of the Department of English. Dr. Yadav expressed gratitude to Prof. Perrodin for his exceptional guidance and mentorship, as well as to all participants for their active engagement and enthusiasm throughout the classes. He emphasized the importance of continuous learning and personal development in today’s dynamic world.

Students of the BPT Department, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur, continued their advanced clinical training on Day 2 of the Khelo India University Games 2025 under the expert supervision of Dr. Imran Khan, State Physiotherapy Official. Throughout the event, students engaged in hands-on sports physiotherapy practices including: On-field injury management Kinesio taping and manual therapy Athlete screening and assessment Sideline rehabilitation and recovery support This immersive exposure provided: Real-time insight into sports-specific injuries Practical application of mobilization and taping techniques in high-intensity match scenarios Direct interaction with national-level athletes, enhancing decision-making and treatment precision By observing immediate treatment outcomes and responding to live match demands, our students strengthened their clinical confidence, sports rehabilitation skills, and understanding of evidence-based athlete care. This valuable experiential learning, made possible through the leadership and guidance of Dr. Imran Khan, demonstrates UEM Jaipur’s commitment to preparing highly competent physiotherapy professionals capable of delivering excellence in competitive sports environments.
