The Pre-Conference Tutorial for IEMECON 2024 was successfully held on 23rd October, featuring an insightful session titled “Exploring the Internet of Things (IoT) and Web of Things (WoT): Methodologies, Approaches, Applications, and Future Trends.” The tutorial was delivered by Mitra Tithi Dey, Assistant Professor and HOD of the Department of Computer Science at NNDC (University of Calcutta), and a research scholar at Jadavpur University.
During the session, Ms. Dey elaborated on Sensor Integration in the IoT architecture, offering an in-depth understanding of how IoT systems are structured. She further delved into real-world applications such as Smart Waste Management, along with other use cases like Smart Cities and Precision Agriculture.
