Students of the BPT Department, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur, continued their advanced clinical training on Day 2 of the Khelo India University Games 2025 under the expert supervision of Dr. Imran Khan, State Physiotherapy Official.
Throughout the event, students engaged in hands-on sports physiotherapy practices including:
On-field injury management
Kinesio taping and manual therapy
Athlete screening and assessment
Sideline rehabilitation and recovery support
This immersive exposure provided:
Real-time insight into sports-specific injuries
Practical application of mobilization and taping techniques in high-intensity match scenarios
Direct interaction with national-level athletes, enhancing decision-making and treatment precision
By observing immediate treatment outcomes and responding to live match demands, our students strengthened their clinical confidence, sports rehabilitation skills, and understanding of evidence-based athlete care.
This valuable experiential learning, made possible through the leadership and guidance of Dr. Imran Khan, demonstrates UEM Jaipur’s commitment to preparing highly competent physiotherapy professionals capable of delivering excellence in competitive sports environments.
