These student club activities play a crucial role in determining and channelizing the passion and interest of students, much beyond their academic pursuit. The extracurricular activities that are routinely organized by these clubs teach the students practical lessons of life, making them not only job-ready but also making them ready to face the bumpy path of survival in this world of cut-throat competition.
Student Clubs and Societies @ UEM Jaipur provide avenues for students to develop stronger relationships, test out their ideas, sharpen organizational and communication skills, gain managing and leadership experience and broaden their horizons outside academic life. Student clubs help in learning to work as a team which is one of the most essential factors in one’s career. These clubs helps to know about themselves, their strengths, and their goals better, and help in generating ideas to serve others.

Student Clubs and Societies @ UEM Jaipur greatly help in learning to work with a team as it is an essential skill for any career. They provide networking opportunities by way of student-meetings across various programs of the university, making connections, and building relationships for life. Students get to learn how different people respond and react to certain situations and they can also seize the opportunity to learn about divergent cultural backgrounds. Furthermore, student clubs provide leadership development opportunities to the students by allowing them to select the office bearers for organizing activities and pursuing the goal of each club, and thereby help them in developing leadership skills. In fact, student clubs help one in knowing about themselves, their strengths, and their goals better, and help in generating ideas to serve others. Last but not the least, student clubs provide a befitting platform to have fun and showcase talent and build a healthy culture during the college years.

University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur, through its National Service Scheme (NSS) and Yuva Bharat Unit, successfully organized a special live telecast of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's "Mann Ki Baat" programme on 2nd August 2026 under the theme "Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat." The programme was conducted as part of an initiative of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, aimed at inspiring young citizens to contribute towards a healthier, responsible, and developed nation. The live broadcast highlighted the importance of a drug-free youth, emphasizing the crucial role of young people in nation-building by adopting healthy lifestyles, making responsible choices, and spreading awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse. Approximately 240 students enthusiastically participated in the programme, reflecting the strong commitment of the UEM Jaipur community towards social responsibility, youth empowerment, and national development. The event concluded with a collective pledge to support the vision of "Nasha Mukt Yuva" and "Viksit Bharat," reinforcing the University's commitment to creating socially responsible, aware, and empowered citizens. The new batch of students officially began their academic journey on 15th July 2026. The students received a warm welcome from UEM Jaipur's faculty members, distinguished government officials, and esteemed industry leaders, reflecting the university's strong commitment to academia-industry collaboration. Adding a unique technological touch to the induction, "Veda", the humanoid robot developed by UEM Jaipur students, along with other robots created at the university, greeted the freshers and assisted them in locating their classrooms and navigating the campus. University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur successfully conducted the Board of Studies (BoS) Meeting for the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering on 6th July 2026 at the UEM Jaipur campus, reaffirming its commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and industry-aligned education. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Prashant Ranjan, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, who welcomed the distinguished Board members and faculty participants. The primary objective was to review and further strengthen the department's curriculum in line with emerging technologies, evolving industry requirements, and Outcome-Based Education (OBE) principles. The University was privileged to receive valuable insights from eminent external academic experts: Prof. (Dr.) Tarun Varma, MNIT Jaipur Prof. (Dr.) Amit Mahesh Joshi, MNIT Jaipur Following comprehensive deliberations, the Board approved the proposed curriculum and appreciated the Department's academic framework for its strong alignment with current industry expectations, technological advancements, and future-ready learning outcomes. The expert members acknowledged that the curriculum is well designed to equip students with the technical knowledge, practical skills, and professional competencies required to excel in the rapidly evolving field of Electronics & Communication Engineering. The meeting also witnessed the active participation of the departmental faculty members, including Dr. Angshuman Khan, Dr. Anjali Yadav, Dr. Uttam N. Thakur, Prof. Surajit Sur, Prof. Kanhaiya Lal Bunkar, Dr. Sikta Mandal, and Mr. Laduram, whose valuable contributions enriched the academic discussions.
