Research update: UEM JAIPUR

The research work, titled “Artificial Lighting for Plants” by Afaq Ahmad, Sougata Banerjee and Dr. Aniruddha Mukherjee, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR, is published in the Journal of Mines, Metals and Fuels, Scopus Indexed journal. The research work highlights the simulation of a plant growth in absence of sunlight, with the varying light spectrum produced by energy efficient LEDs. The doi is shared herewith:

Her research, titled “Analysis of the Parameters Influencing Different Properties of the Conducting Fluids”, was completed under Manipal University Jaipur, showcasing her academic depth, dedication, and contribution to the field of applied mathematics. University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur proudly shares that Prof. Sougata Banerjee, Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, had the honour of representing the university at the prestigious MIDAS Symposium 2025, held on Saturday, April 26th, 2025, at the EROS Hotel, New Delhi.
University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur proudly shares that Prof. Sougata Banerjee, Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, had the honour of representing the university at the prestigious MIDAS Symposium 2025, held on Saturday, April 26th, 2025, at the EROS Hotel, New Delhi. Themed “Spanning Innovations in Design of Bridges,” the symposium brought together leading minds from around the globe to delve into transformative topics in structural and bridge engineering, including engineering marvels and the integration of AI in structural analysis. The event featured insightful sessions from some of the most respected experts in the field, including: Mr. Alok Bhowmick, Managing Director, B&S Engineering Consultants Dr. Yogendra Singh, Professor & Former Head, Earthquake Engineering, IIT Roorkee Dr. Essam Abdou, Principal & Head of Bridges Engineering, DAR AL Handash, Egypt Mr. V. Karthik, Engineering Manager - Bridge, Jacobs …and many other esteemed professionals whose contributions made the symposium a resounding success.
