This program of Medha Samman, 2017 was focused towards recognizing the students in the top merit list of West Bengal in class 12 board exams and awarding them on-stage, held at the Gorky Sadan, Kolkata, West Bengal on 2nd July, 2017.
The program was excellently arranged by Taaza TV. The University of Engineering & Management (UEM) and the Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM) (UEM-IEM group) were associated in the program.
350 top students of West Bengal as per their class 12 board exam results were awarded in the program.
Prof. Dr. Biswajoy Chatterjee, Vice Chancellor, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), represented the UEM-IEM group and was honored with the opportunity of handing over a few prizes.
Also, present in the last picture beside Prof. Dr. Biswajoy Chatterjee, Vice Chancellor, University of Engineering & Management (UEM) is Mr. Vikram Newar, the co-owner of Taaza TV.
The program will be telecasted in Taaza TV on Sunday, 9th July, 2017 at 3:30 pm (available in cables and can also be seen in Taaza TV’s website live or Jio TV).
