Raj Jain received his Ph.D. in 1978 from Harvard University and an M.E. from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Dr. Jain is currently a Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis. He is a Fellow of IEEE, a Fellow of ACM, a Fellow of AAAS, a winner of ACM SIGCOMM Test of Time award,Center for Development of Advanced Computing – Advanced Computing and Communications Society (CDAC-ACCS) Foundation Award 2009, WiMAX Forum Individual Contribution Award 2008, 2014 Distinguished Alumnus Award from Indian Institute of Science Bangalore Alumni Association, and ranks among the top 90 in CiteSeerX’s list of Most Cited Authors in Computer Science.
