BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Ms. Jayita Chatterjee, 2nd Year Student of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM) and President of SPIE Student Chapter (Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers, USA) has been selected by SPIE, Bellingham, USA to represent SPIE India Student Chapter (represented by UEM) for being selected for a funded visit to the Students Leadership Program at San Diego, USA on 5 – 10 August, 2017. This is the world’s biggest Students’ Leadership Program on OPTICS AND PHOTONICS.

Her research, titled “Analysis of the Parameters Influencing Different Properties of the Conducting Fluids”, was completed under Manipal University Jaipur, showcasing her academic depth, dedication, and contribution to the field of applied mathematics. University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur proudly shares that Prof. Sougata Banerjee, Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, had the honour of representing the university at the prestigious MIDAS Symposium 2025, held on Saturday, April 26th, 2025, at the EROS Hotel, New Delhi. Themed “Spanning Innovations in Design of Bridges,” the symposium brought together leading minds from around the globe to delve into transformative topics in structural and bridge engineering, including engineering marvels and the integration of AI in structural analysis. The event featured insightful sessions from some of the most respected experts in the field, including: Mr. Alok Bhowmick, Managing Director, B&S Engineering Consultants Dr. Yogendra Singh, Professor & Former Head, Earthquake Engineering, IIT Roorkee Dr. Essam Abdou, Principal & Head of Bridges Engineering, DAR AL Handash, Egypt Mr. V.
