The palace is a hotel now, taken by Taj. The luxury hotel is the most expensive hotel in the Pink City. It has 79 rooms, 4 special suites, a restaurant, a coffee shop and a bar, one open & one covered swimming pool. It has many facilities like conference rooms, swimming pools and a spa.
The Rambagh Palace was built in the year 1835 AD for Kesar Badaran, the queen’s favorite handmaiden. It was further transformed in 1925 into a palace and was used as the residence of the Maharaja of Jaipur. Thereafter, in 1957, the Palace was converted into a plush hotel by Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II.
