Hands-On Workshop on 3D- Printing Technology:
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, with the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S) Student Branch Chapter, organized today on 27th July 2024, a hands-on workshop for second-year students. The focus of the workshop was on 3D printing technology, aimed at providing students with practical experience and knowledge in this cutting-edge field.
The participation from students across various branches, including ECE, CSE, and CSE-AIML. The students were part of the PRODYOG team also, which fosters interdisciplinary learning and collaboration.
The hands-on workshop was conducted by Prof. Sougata Banerjee , an expert in the field of 3D printing. Prof. Banerjee provided a comprehensive overview of 3D printing technology, covering both theoretical and practical aspects. It includes Introduction to 3D Printing, Designing for 3D Printing, Implementation of 3D Printing, and Hands-On Session .
The participants gained a deeper understanding of 3D printing technology, from design to implementation. This experience is expected to inspire further interest and innovation in the field of 3D printing among the students.
