Under the aegis of the Center of Sustainable Innovations for Clean Future (SICF), students from the Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical Engineering departments of University of Engineering and Management (UEM), Jaipur visited Biogas Plant at LNMIIT Jaipur for an industrial tour. The visit, organized by Prof. Mandeep Singh with the support of Prof. Umesh Gurnani, provided an enriching experience where students witnessed cutting-edge technologies in action. During the visit, students observed live demonstrations of advanced manufacturing and automation systems, including VMC (Vertical Machining Center), EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining), Plasma Arc Cutting, and Underwater/Submerged Arc Welding. These processes are widely used in high-precision engineering and modern fabrication industries. Additionally, students got hands-on exposure to PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and automation systems, understanding their critical role in industrial control and smart manufacturing. The highlight of the visit was an interaction with a Humanoid Robot, showcasing the integration of robotics and artificial intelligence in industrial applications. The students were guided by LNMIIT, Jaipur team, who provided technical insights and industry-oriented knowledge. The visit not only enhanced their understanding of advanced manufacturing but also inspired them to explore emerging trends in engineering and automation. Prof. Mandeep Singh, Prof. Ravindra Maanju, Prof. Sasthi Charan Hens, Prof. Paulami Das Choudhury and Mr. Bhanwar Saini accompanied the students for the visit. #TopRankedUniversity#uemian#uem#UEMJaipur
