AICTE Approved Faculty Development Program on Universal Human Values at University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR.

The Inaugural Session of the First Day of the Faculty Development Program on Universal Human Values was held at the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur on 13th July, 2023. The session was attended by over 50 faculty members from UEM JAIPUR and other colleges.

The session was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr) Biswajoy Chatterjee, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur. In his welcome address, Dr. Chatterjee highlighted the importance of universal human values in today’s world. He said that universal human values are the foundation of a just and equitable society. He also said that the Faculty Development Program on Universal Human Values would provide faculty members with the knowledge and skills they need to inculcate universal human values in their students.

The session was also addressed by Prof. Dr. Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Registrar, University of Engineering and Management, Jaipur, and Prof. Dr. Aniruddha Mukherjee, Dean, Academics of University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur.

On this occasion, the felicitation of guests of AICTE Team – Dr. Navin Kumar Sharma – Resource Person, Dr. Piyush Sharma – Co-Facilitator, Dr. Vijay Pal Singh – Observer was also done by the dignitaries of UEM, Jaipur.

The following are the topics that were covered in the Faculty Development Program on Universal Human Values:
• The methods for inculcating universal human values in students
• The role of universal human values in a just and equitable society
• The challenges to universal human values in the 21st century
• The ways to overcome the challenges to universal human values

The Faculty Development Program on Universal Human Values was held over a period of three days. The program was conducted by a team of experts from AICTE.

The Faculty Development Program on Universal Human Values was a valuable opportunity for faculty members to learn about the importance of universal human values and how to inculcate them in their students. The program will help faculty members to become more effective educators and to create a more just and equitable society.
