The 3-Days Introductory Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Universal Human Values (UHV) commenced today at the University of Engineering and Management (UEM), Jaipur, with an enlightening inaugural session.
The event began with the traditional lighting of the lamp ceremony, followed by the felicitation of the resource persons:

* Dr. Alka Swami (Observer)
The introductory address of the FDP was delivered by Prof. Dr. Mukesh Yadav, Associate Dean – Academics, while the welcome address was presented by Prof. Dr. Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Registrar, UEM Jaipur.
A total of 65 faculty members from various institutes are participating in the program, showcasing an enthusiastic response and commitment toward integrating universal human values into academia.
The stage proceedings were skillfully managed by Dr. Snehlata Dhaka and Prof. Shivani Saini, ensuring a seamless flow of events. The FDP is being conducted under the meticulous guidance of Prof. Dipta Mukherjee, whose leadership has been instrumental in organizing this impactful program.
The FDP aims to provide faculty members with a foundational understanding of UHV, emphasizing the importance of ethics, human relationships, and societal well-being in education. It aligns with the AICTE mandate to enhance the holistic development of educators, thereby fostering a value-based approach to teaching and learning.
The remaining sessions of the FDP promise to be equally engaging, with a combination of expert lectures, interactive discussions, and practical insights into implementing universal human values in academic and personal contexts.

Multiple Victories Across India: Several UEM Jaipur students, including Tejas Kharkar, Ashish Kumar Jha, Manmohan Singh, Himanshu Jangid, Mayank Sharma, Rajput Yashu, Divyansh Sachdev, and Mohit Raj, achieved significant wins in competitions held at NIT Srinagar, SLIET Punjab, RGIPT UP, and JECRC Jaipur. Campus Placement Success: The university proudly celebrates the placement of its final-year students at Metacube Software as IT Developers, with an impressive starting salary of ₹6.5 LPA. The recruited students include Soumen Pal, Anushree Agarwala, Avinash Kumar Mehta, Aman Sharma, Sourabh Chhipa, Debabrata Maity, Anurag Kumar, Swayam Khatter, Shanu Aaryan, and Gopendu Manna. Leadership in Event Management: Our students successfully volunteered in organizing a Teachers’ Award Program for school educators, further demonstrating their leadership and organizational skills.
