Workshop on Developing Innovations through 3D Modeling Students of University of Engineering and Management, Jaipur, in association with IIC and IQAC, conducted a workshop on 11.03.24 for all students. In this event students participated with great enthusiasm. More than 80 students actively participated in this event. In this workshop, the students were taught about designing various sample products, casing, 3D objects, etc. 3D modeling is the trending technology in the present era of innovations and start-ups. The students were also depicted a real-time Mixed Reality (MR) based 3D object, from the starting till the successful implementation in Windows MR Platform. The newly designed 3D object could be interacted with real-time scenario, just pointing a camera module at the desired place of requirement. This attracted the interest of all the students and motivated them to develop such projects in future. This also motivated the students to push their creative ideas into some innovative projects. Also, software installation and license access guide was provided to the students. The session was all of practical hands-on learning and interactive. Notable innovations included novel approaches to sustainability, advancements in medical technology, and creative solutions for societal challenges. Overall, this event was a great success. This helped the students to gain a lot of knowledge and apply the know-hows in their future projects. 3D Modeling has an immense future. Workshop on Design Thinking, Critical Thinking and Innovation Design E-Cell students of University of Engineering and Management Jaipur in association with IIC conducted Entrepreneurial Workshop on 07th March 2024 for all students. Main aim of workshop was to educate students about entrepreneurship and differentiate it from traditional business practices. The event commenced with an introduction to entrepreneurship, highlighting the roles and activities of entrepreneurs. One of the engaging activities, "Innoquiz: Uncover the startup secret" , challenged students to identify startups based on their taglines. This interactive session encouraged participants to explore the startup ecosystem and enhance their knowledge about emerging businesses. The event also announced "NIRMAAN" , where students were invited to pitch their business ideas. Selected teams would receive opportunities for incubation and support at the university's Incubation Centre, fostering innovation and entrepreneurial spirit among students. "Decode the Disruption: Start-up Sleuth Challenge" followed, presenting students with puzzles and hints to decipher information about products, companies, and startups. This activity encouraged critical thinking and problem-solving skills essential for entrepreneurship. The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony , recognizing the achievements of participants. Winners, runners-up, and second runners-up were awarded various prizes , acknowledging their contributions and efforts during the workshop. #Workshop on MATLAB - 06th and 07th March# Day 02 of Workshop on "Introduction to MATLAB" continued on 07th March from 2.30 pm to 5 pm in ECE Lab for students of ME, EE, ECE and Civil Engineering. The content covered for the day was: 1. Defining data in cells 2. Writing loops (for and while) 3. Writing if else statement 4. Writing functions 5. Making plots 6. Accessing toolboxes The learning session was followed by an assignment and concluded with a quick feedback and sharing of e-certificates with all the participants of the workshop. A total of 39 students participated in this Workshop.
